Why Is My House Shaking in Spokane Valley?

It turns out that several homes in Spokane Valley have reported hearing blasting and that their homes are shaking.  The blasting has originated at a nearby development and according to KREM 2 news in Spokane Full Story Here, only the homes within 300 feet of the blasting zone were notified.

Many homeowners experienced cracks in their walls and personal belongings falling off of shelves.  Blasting could be felt by homeowners up to a quarter mile away!
